Carla is this week's hostess for the Ways To Use It challenge and she offered up sand & surf for today's challenge. It's very appropriate as we have not technically passed into summer here in the States.
I chose some watercolor paper for the great texture and then began with a loose idea about surfboards leaning on palm trees.
Here is what I ended up with as it reminded me of a cool surf bar that was down the beach from where I stayed in Thailand on our last vacation. I'm glad to have such great memories of that vacation...as it seems that it will be a while before I get another tropical beach vacation.
Thanks for looking!

Super fun card, Toni. Love how you just did the scene on the right side - so lovely and fun. Hugz

I say that Shirley's row of flipflops reminded me of surfboards (when they're all lined up at the school cabins) and then next card I see is yours. I like your layout with the clean left side (didn't you once have a WT that was to use the right edge?) and the sand is certainly far more like most Irish beaches than many cards in the gallery .
