This view of this 3rd card of 50 hand-stitched cards is showing the matching envelope with the flap embossed with the Cuttlebug Kitchen Weave 5 by 7 embossing folder. The reason that I did not use the same cross-stitched hearts embossing folder as what I used on the card, was that the embossing folder was smaller, and it could not emboss enough of the whole flap going in the right direction. The hearts would have been embossed sideways, so I decided to use another embossing folder that looked like it had stitched details on it.
All of the patterns that I have uploaded and color combinations have been my own. I have made 2 hand-stitched pieces that I made into cards that I copied the patterns, if I upload those, I will acknowledge my source.
For more details about this hand-stitched card, or about the set of 50 hand-stitched cards I made, giving 44 in a special gift to my Mom, who is a master cross-stitcher, or more about the initial inspiration as to how I could stitch on cards using specialized dies for Hand-stitching which I learned about by watching a YouTube by Jennifer Mcguire, please read the description on the 1st view of this card. This Hand-stitching on cardstock is definitely one that takes time to prep the stitching bases plus the stitching takes at least 1 to 2 days minimum to stitch, but it's very relaxing and a lot of fun.
With the exception of 2 patterns which I will let you know which two and who created those, I have created these patterns as well as the color combinations, which was lots of fun!
Please feel free to contact me with any questions or suggestions, and I will appreciate either or both.
Thank you so much for stopping by to take a look at my card. When you take the time and the trouble to leave a comment, it makes my week!!!
Please take good care, be well and stay safe especially during these very challenging and very unusual times.
