This week Brenda is hosting the Watercolor Wednesday challenge with no line watercoloring. Stamped with TH antique linen on the watercolor paper. Then using copy paper stamp it with black ink. Use this for a reference when water coloring with the light ink. Colored image with various inks. Added gold dots with a stylus and the mica ink. Added a border with the krylon pen. Come join us this week. Kia has uploaded some very informative videos on watercoloring for you to enjoy. TFL

Love your no line watercoloring, Linda. Such pretty flowers and the gold dots made with the stylus look super. Your border looks so elegant in gold.

I feel as though I could just reach out and touch those flowers, they have such depth and realism, wow!!! Great idea to also stamp the same image on copy paper in a darker color to see the image more clearly. I especially love the gold and mica dots as well as the metallic border that you have just drawn--oh my goodness! As usual, your work draws me in and I just love how it looks and I can almost imagine touching and smelling these flowers. Your artwork just so inspired me and it makes me want to try no-line and other watercoloring. If I could only get my craftroom in order and then I could spend time crafting a lot more. Hoping that this summer, I will be strong and well enough to get done what I need to do so that I can really get into crafting as much as I'd like--all about cardmaking for me!

WOW!!!
Blessings to you, and thank you for teaching, inspiring, and also for your wonderfully uplifting and encouraging comment you recently left on one of my newly uploaded hand-stitched cards. Seeing your comment meant SO much because I so admire your artwork.

I imagine you don't even need lines to do this kind of wc. I thought they might be apple blossoms, regardless, gorgeous. I hope I can do some little justice to this challenge.
