For Lisa's pets with paws challenge this week. This kitty was the first ever stamp I bought, probably around 1985 as that is when we acquired our rescue cat, Willow. This will go to our grandson, Max who will be 11 in December and one of their family cats is an orange kitty, named Smitty! Nice to get a card done in advance! I am actually glad I had a few smudges that would not come off, so on went the hearts and I like it. I used the stamp-a-ma-jig for both wooden stamps. Had to doctor up the tail with an orange pen as part of the tail didn't show even after I had inked it twice. tfl!

Adorable card...we cover our "blurbs" in the same way! I love the story behind the stamp that it's your 1st stamp. Your grandson will cherish this I'm sure.

This is so darned cute Shirl. I absolutely love this kitty image and that you made him orange so Max will be reminded of Smitty when he receives this card from you in December. The hearts add to the heartwarming feeling of this fabulous card. ~Karen.
