| | I made this card for the letter LS Alphabet challenge. The Ls in this card are the Lacy Edge Die used and the word Life. The Ss are for the sponging and swiping techniques I used.
The roses are mult-step stamping. I do not love the pixilated look of these stamps so for each layer I took the ink pad and swiped it down the stamp to give it a different kind of texture, and I like this a lot better. I did the same thing for the leaves. When the stamping was done, then die cut the lace edge.
Die cut the sentiment panel from the SU Wild Rose dies and stamped the sentiment. Did some sponging around the edge of the sentiment panel so this stands out a little more. Added the card panel to a blue card base.
This was a really fun card to make and I am happier with it using the ink swiping technique. Thank you Ann for this week's great challenge and thank you for looking. ~Karen. |
