For the w/c challenge which was to add unexpected color. Well, I think I flunked the challenge, because my whole image is unexpected color. But posting this anyways. I did have matching purple twine, but decided I liked the magenta color for this. Doodled with a purple fineliner pen. Thanks Angie, for hosting the w/c challenge this week. It was still fun to give it a go. tfl.

Shirl whatever unexpected colour you wanted and didn’t get, I think it turned out absolutely gorgeous. Love it all. TFS. Happy day

It is never a fail when one plays in the challenge. The point is it is still very pretty done in the unexpected colours and nicely designed. Thanks for joining in the challenge.

I'm a tulip lover and don't care if the color is unexpected or not. Colors are what one likes. And, that is some wonderful doodling...something I could not do without ruining a card. So glad you joined the challenge, Shirl.

This is beautiful with your colors....the twine adds a nice touch to the lovely unexpected colored tulips. Like the delicate framing you did too. Thanks for joining the challenge.
Your flower is gorgeous! I love the color combo! I like that you added a bow. Very sweet card. And there is no flunking in an SCS Challenge! So glad you could join us!

I love your card Shirl! The colors are just glorious my friend! I also really like how you angled the tulips to fit the sentiment in and your doodling is amazing! I find water coloring to be terrifying so I admire you for doing this Shirl and for making such a lovely card too! ~Karen.
