I made this second tag for a new multi media challenge by Nancy and Jayne. I watched the 2 suggested videos and created 2 large tags or panels based on Marta's video (Maremi Smallart). It was such fun to experiment and try something different.
I didn't have tissue or gesso, so I used texture paste and mulberry paper. As Marta says, "Use what you have." I cut out and used the texture paste on 3 different tags, adding inks and string. After it was dry, I added more string, yarn, washi tape and a thin plastic piece with holes in it. Then I used watercolor on some white flowers, added gems and Wink of Stella. I also cut our some dark green leaves with dies. I arranged the flowers and leaves on the tag, and attached them with 3D adhesive dots.
Thanks so much for a great challenge Nancy and Jayne! l loved playing!
