It was a sad day at the election on Tuesday. A co-election-worker (who fortunately wasn't working that day) lost her husband in the morning. He was a very nice and well-liked man. So I was in need of a sympathy card. Roses make nice sympathy cards and you'll notice that I also added pearls. And colored them yellow. And there are six flowers. Also, who am I? I watercolored two days in a row? I guess I don't really have that much fun coloring flowers, so I might as well practice my watercoloring on them. I like the soft look. I even made two so I'd have another sympathy card for my stash.

Yes. Who are you? GMTA today with roses, which I don't do all that often either. So sorry you had to make this card, but making two is smart to have another for your stash.

Always handy to have a couple of sympathy cards in your stash. You certainly get the bonus points for managing at least three of Cathy's options. I like the pearls. I'm sure your co-worker will appreciate this lovely sympathy card.

I love your soft, delicate watercoloring on these yellow roses, it's delicate and perfect for a caring sympathy card. I really like your watercoloring style, it's not fussy but your coloring is very realistic. I'm impressed. So smart to make a few more to have on hand--I need to do that too...
You will bring some comfort to your co-worker, and that is special!

I noticed the soft coloring on the roses- very nicely done. I created a couple of cards recently using watercolored panels. Love that medium but I'm still a beginner.
