Karen gave us such beautiful colors this week - so tropical! I love them!
They were perfect for playing with the new watercolor challenge and for playing with my new Glimmer Hot Foil system!
I hadn't done the WC technique in quite some time and never using the acetate sheet as a "brush'. So much fun!
The foiling took a bit of time as it was not quite as easy as the YouTube videos make it look. It wasn't terribly difficult, just a matter of figuring what works based on your machine, how much foil to use, etc. A learning curve which the videos don't show you!
In any case I'm happy with the result.
I hope you will find time to join us in the challenge this week!

Jeanne, I love this card, especially that wonderful watercolored background! Thanks for alerting me to the new Wednesday challenge. I'm excited to play! Thanks, too, for mentioning the foiling technique. So far, I've resisted it, but this beautiful central element is sure tempting! Love this!

Your background is stunning Jeanne! The foiling looks lovely, you definitely figured it out, adding the metallic to the sentiment and florals. Just gorgeous!
