I have been creating very late at night lately so I have been thankful for the SCS challenges! Before I started on my "farm" themed card I checked out Sabrina's Ways to Use It Challenge. I saw the bleach challenge and looked at all of the linked tutorials but I liked the idea of the technique she said she used most often of bleach with Distress or DOX. I will say that I was tired and didn't notice that she said "sponged" background. I bet I would have had an even greater result but I covered my background with wet DOX and then I sprinkled bleach crystals and spritzed it with more water. It was fascinating to see the color separation once the bleach crystals touched the ink.
Thanks, Sabrina for the fun challenge!
For the background on the tag, I used a die-cut piece of chicken wire as a stencil and lightly sponged chicken wire! I covered Ginny in Wink of Stella but sadly my photo didn't pick it up. :(
On my blog post, I mention a little sneaky trick that isn't visible on this photo if you are interested in checking out the post.

Stinkin cute with a beautiful bg, Angie! Love the fun sentiment. I don't have any bleach crystals. After seeing Sabrina's and your cards, I'll snatch one next time I'm at the store.

I figured there was glitter somewhere on your card, Angie. Wink of stella pretty much never shows up on a photo. But I Adore your Beautiful bg, even though it wasn't exactly what the directions stated! Really cute card~

What a fun card and what a fantastic background, Angie. I like the dappled effect you got - it's like blue granite. I saw this yesterday and it made me smile after a long, busy day. Long, busy week...
