Hello, Hope you are doing well and indulging in papercraft today! Here is #3 of my Tea bag series of cards. I am loving these little bitties and just getting started and used to the paper. I think I may iron some next to get a smoother finish.
here is the tutorial from Tina on Tea Bag stamping: Tea Bag Stamping Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers
Shades of green and little lady bugs, very NATURE looking, like my little Terrarium with the dragonfly and butterfly with the plants and all shades of green.
I use sticky dots to adhere the tea bag down, and dimensional to pop up the tea bag TAG that I made (same stamps set) to keep with the nature theme. I actually doubled the Stitched Circle die for extra duty strength.
Sanded the Core'dinations paper embossed with Lumber 3-D texture fade to reveal some of the Kraft color.
I had to stamp a few times on the stamping platform, as this isn't a flat surface and the light color at the top (trying to ombre effect the greens) had to be stamped a few times. so, the water in the ink does bleed a little where I have stamped over a few times it is more noticeable and not as sharp a image. that is my cautionary tale to you. : )
lastly I added a bakers twine bow and curled it by running it thru my thumb nail (like any curly ribbon). it made a few curls and I tacked them down where they touched the paper and otherwise the curls stand up, it will survive the mail and still stand up, done it many times.
Hope you enjoy, and TFL! Teresa
