When I heard about the challenge courtesy of friends I was zooming with during VSN, I thought I was in trouble as I do not have fruit stamps. I did, however, have an ink pad called Tutti Frutti so that was a start.
I also thought somewhere in my brain I remembered some fruit patterned paper...was it strawberries or lemons or something. I finally found a sheet of banana paper that I had received free in a scrapbooking magazine many many years ago. So thatâs what I started with...the ink and the paper.
Now what. I had to think of animals and the only monkeys and elephants...who do by the way eat bananas in case you did not know LOL....I have witnessed an elephant stripping bananas in Thailand a few years ago and actually fed it bananas. That is when I thought I can use my elephant and monkey balloon stamp set and make them holding the sentiment.
I stamped them directly onto the patterned paper, something I do from time to time and which is very easy provided you make sure you are using your Misti. Sometimes I forget LOL...today I remembered. Stamped them a few times.
Die cut the circle after stamping the sentiment and added twine and bling. Done. Phew I had made a card with fruit on it after all...now that is a first...or maybe second.
Thanks for the challenge Misti.
TFL. Happy day

Monkeys and bananas! And an elephant? Does he like bananas too, or is he part of the party for elephant rides?? Fun card for this challenge.
