This card is for Kimâs Mini VSN challenge using a sketch.
I always find sketches tricky but I already had the pink water coloured rectangle in my stash and thought it could work for this challenge. I also had a stamp set that I hadnât broken the seal on and loved the funky flowers.
Yesterday, when babysitting our poppets, we did the shaving foam technique and our DGS gave me half of a panel he had made saying I could use it on my cards, so thatâs what I did today. I stamped the flowers on his panel that looks mainly green but it has blues and pinks and purples on there. Fussy cut them and thatâs where my brain got stuck. I just couldnât make the panel work on my square cards that I love.
Out came another card base and I added washi tape to cover up the white. Iâm not a white space person LOL. Stamped the sentiment and heart in the middle from the same stamp set and added splatters. Wink of stella added in the centres of the flowers....I love sparkle.
Thanks for the challenge Kim.
TFL. Happy day

Such a fun card Jayne! You do well under pressure: singing, dancing and stamping! Wow! I'm so impressed. Your DGS's shaving cream creation worked well for those darling flowers!

Jayne, this card is sooo pretty and really fun too with this fabulous floral arrangement that is so pleasing to the eye. I absolutely loved reading that you stamped these flowers on the shaving cream piece your DGS gave to you after making it at your house - how fun! I love the layer with the pink around it and the polka dot background is super fun too, but it is this sentiment that is the cherry on top of this fabulous card Jayne! ~Karen.
