It's great to be back. I haven't uploaded a card in over a month after having an "in my house" accident. I'm much better but still recuperating.
While mending, Debbie (DebbieinOC) sent me a beautiful card and these awesome flowers to use for creating a card. Thank you, Debbie.
To make my card, I sponged the background, then stamped the trickling water and text background. The flowers were already cut so I colored them with Copics and added sparkle to the centers. I also have a little sparkle in my trickling water.
I stamped a sentiment and had it a bit crooked so I just made a tab and stamped it again. I liked it better without the tab but the card was made and I had to improvise.

Brenda, that has happened to me too! I have layered on the sentiment when I mess it up on the base. But I would never have guessed. It looks good. Your card looks amazing, and I love the coloring! I am so glad you are able to get back to the gallery! I hope that you feel better every day! We have missed you!

Oh, Brenda...I am so sorry to hear about your accident, but I'm glad you are on the mend and especially glad you were able to upload this gorgeous card to the gallery today! That pop of red on the poppies looks striking on your bold background!
