I made this card for this week's Tickle A Teapoter Challenge. The last week of the month we send cards to each other and Jen (Miss Boo) has a fantastic challenge for us called, "Red, White & Blue With A Twist." Meaning, non-patriotic cards and different shades of blue. Fun!
The daisies are 3-step stamping, then fussy cut out. The leaves are 2-step stamping, then die cut. The sentiment panel is die cut, then stamped on. The red DSP strip is die cut using a scalloped edge die on each edge. Figured out the configuration, then put Glad Press n Seal over everything to hold it all together, added glue to the backs of the flowers and leaves and sentiment panel, and adhered into place.
This card reminds me of picnics we used to take when I was growing up. We had a checked tablecloth and quite often a mason jar filled with daisies. I thought this sentiment was perfect for the times we are living in.
Thank you Jen for this wonderful challenge and thank you for looking! ~Karen.

Fabulous card, Karen! Love the sentiment! Your card really does remind me of family picnics and summer get-togethers.

Absolutely gorgeous. Love the sentiment and thank you for mentioning the press and seal. I never think to do that! This is so sunny and bright and lively looking. The pale blue gingham is a perfect table cloth, er, I mean background, tee hee.
Gorgeous non-traditional red, white and blue. My niece and husband both have birthdays close to the 4th, so I'm always trying to figure this one out each year.

Karen I have trouble with single stamping, let alone double and triple stamping. Wow this looks fabulous. I can feel the happy country picnic! I forgot what I bought Glad Press n Seal for, know I know LOL.

Your blue flowers and leaves are so pretty, Karen, and look as if they should be decorating some fine bone china. The red is more my colour. The gingham gives it such a lovely cheeerful feel.
