Lee wants rainbows. I dug deep in the technique file and decided to bring this one back. The 31st card I posted into my gallery, back in 2015, used this painter's tape technique, shared with me via a great SU demo-Laura. This time I applied the inked tape over Shery Russ's Stamplorations stencil: Scaly. I think it turned out pretty cool, which is good because the temperature outside today is predicted to reach 97F, trending toward 105F tomorrow. I'm happy to be inside playing VSN.

I like the distressed look you got with the tape, it gives it that has survived time worn effect and that pairs nicely with the happy vibrant colors
Stay Cool, those temperatures sound like roasted alive to me.

hello and happy day to you! I think this is COOL, too : ) I just saw painters tape inking a few days ago, for the first time. I LOVE this rainbow effect with the stenciling, such a great choice. I am so clueless on techniques, but enjoying trying the new ones I keep running across. THANKS for the kind review of my Tea Bag card with the 'stitching' doodles. I wrote down the Zentangle book by Suzanne McNeil and will get that soon. Appreciate the help and encouragement. ;) stay masked, stay well, Teresa
