This card was made for the Misti Monday May 2020 challenge: a peek-a-boo card with a summer theme.
I chose to create a scene near the ocean.
I made my acrylic pour background. Then, die cut the lighthouse when the acrylic pour cs was dry, and I also die cut a lighthouse out of black cardstock. I trimmed the black lighthouse die cut into a circular shape and glued it to the inside of my card. Then I glued in the pieces from my die cut lighthouse acrylic pour cardstock. I added glitter to the waves and windows of the light house.
I die cut 2 windows, one from white cs and one from woodgrain dp. I glued a piece of blue DP onto the front of card and cut out a rectangle, gluing the woodgrain window (with an acetate piece for windowpanes) on the front of card and the white window on the inside of card front.
Then, I used my Misti and mask paper in order to use the 3 parts of my sentiment separately. The "I Miss You!" and verses were altogether as one stamp. It took a little thought and planning, so thank goodness I had my Misti to position each part of the sentiment for the front and inside of my card. I also added a little sailboat next to the bottom front sentiment.
