| | I had to make another card for this week's Featured Stamper challenge. Kittie is our hostess and she has selected Chris (fargets) as our featured stamper this week. Chris has a fabulous gallery full of fun and colorful projects so when I saw this card I knew it was perfect for what I needed: Pop of Color by fargets at Splitcoaststampers.
I adore how Chris made her card on white cardstock and used rainbow colors. It is gorgeous, but I am needing a more rustic card. I may come back and make this colorful version too! For this card I heat embossed in gold on woodgrain paper. I filled all the areas of the leaves with white colored pencil first. Then went over each leaf using 3 colors of blue and 3 colors of green pencil. I had time to color so this was a very relaxing project to make. Like Chris, I finished the card off with a sentiment that I heat embossed in gold embossing powder.
Thank you Chris for another great inspiration. Enjoy your week in the spotlight!
Thanks for looking! ~Karen. |
