I made this card for Ways To Use It challenge: One Layer. There were so many wonderful cards in the gallery!
I actually cased Ravengirl, Toni's card. Check it out in the WT793 Gallery. I hope she doesn't mind. I loved how she created her background.
I used washi tape to cover squares on white cardstock, then brushed a variety of inks into squares. Removed the tape. Then, I colored directly on my flower stamp and stamped over the squares. I added my sentiment and a string.
Thanks for a fun challenge Cathy and thank you for inspiring me, Toni, with your lovely card.

Gracie, this is sooo pretty! I love Toni's card too, and I am really impressed with your gorgeous card too. I love the colors (a lot!) and I love the flower image you used too. What a great take on Toni's gorgeous card! Hugs! ~Karen.

You and Toni between you have made me want to try dry-embossing a window cover-die I have and seeing what I can do with it. I love the look of your coloured squares. Sprained ligaments in your hand - oh no! Left or not, it's hard to manage with only one.
