I discovered a doodling artist on YouTube-Mary's Meditative Art. I can't really call it Zentangle because she doesn't always use true Zentangle approved tangles. But that's ok, I'm not a purist. Her videos are very nice to watch...no talking, usually some kind of nature sound in the background. Just what doodling/Zentangle is all about. I had never used just pencil to doodle and I really like it...a nice contrast to the black. I could have gone on and on and covered the whole piece. Mary is much more consistent in her doodling, as you can see, my flowers are rather random. It's the way I roll. Remember, there are no mistakes in Zentangle/doodling. Always a way to recover.
