I needed a card in a hurry for someone whose surgery was first postponed and then brought forward. This was quick to put together and get in the mail the next morning...
Sponged the background with antique linen and old paper.Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain around the edges. Stamped the HA script stamp in a soft grey, and Linen in Weathered Wood. Stamped Roses in Winter using worn lipstick and fired brick, forest moss and peeled paint for the leaves. I stitched round the edges with brown thread. Stamped and embossed the sentiment. Added a butterfly from my collection (Inktense pencils on watercolour paper). Finished it off with Stickles all round the edges.
Linen, HA script stamp, HA sentiment, TH butterfly,
Inks: antique linen, old paper, vintage photo, walnut stain, weathered wood, fired brick, worn lipstick peeled paint, forest moss. Edges stitched and Stickles. Butterfly coloured with Inktense pencils. S

Oh wow! Such a gorgeous card! So much to look at. There is a linen background! Love it! I can't wait for this challenge. I have a guess. I love guessing from sneak peeks like this.

So much depth and interest on a one layer card, Sabrina...so gorgeous! I know I still have these SU! stamps...will have to get them out of hiding! Love the linen and script texture on the background and of course the wonky stitching! Thank you for this amazing sample!
