A nice easy sketch for a very difficult card to make. My Uncle Steve passed away very unexpectedly this week. I worry that people are not getting the healthcare that they need for non-COVID related issues during this time. I wanted to make these special cards for my aunt and my cousin. I've shared some of the cards that I've made of some of the cards that my aunt gave me. She's never thrown out a card in her life and she gave them all to me to thinking that I could use them for my cards. And my aunt and uncle gave each other cards for every occasion. So I had a ton of cards that he had signed. I cut them all up and arranged them for the main panel which I popped up in front of one of my favorite sentiments from Verve and a perfect one for my uncle. I hope they can find comfort in having this part of Uncle Steve still with them.

I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts go out to you and your family.
I think this is such a touching and beautiful card. It was brilliant to incorporate cut up cards with your relative's own writing on them. I'm sure your cards will give comfort and will be a treasured item forever.

I am so sorry for this sudden loss of your uncle. Seeing his handwriting on your cards are just going to touch their hearts like no others they receive. I know this had to be hard for you to make but I pray that doing this loving and thoughtful thing for your aunt and cousin will bring you peace as well. Hugs and my prayers for your family.
