This card is for last week's Teapot Party challenge. It is also for the Mix challenge and the Ways to use it challenge. It will also go in the Alpha challenge. H = Hundert Who?
The recipient, Chrissy, likes animals and I chose both, even though I am a cat lover.
C = Carabelle Studio, colouring crazy,
A = animals, art
T = Tombow pen
S = Spirals, sign
D = Distress inks, Dylusions
O = Orange
G = Gold
S = Spirals, sign
When I saw Polly's Mix challenge I knew I wanted to participate as I love crazy funky artsy styles and Hundert Who...or whatever his name lol....did some funky art.
I created my interpretation and bottom panel by stamping a funky stamp I have, sponging each ink onto each section. When I took the panel out of my Misti it wasn't very vibrant, so more ink added. After 3 attempts I decided that the only way I was going to get colour was to use my zigs. Love those pens.
I first doodled the lines in black and then went over with the pens. One section was too dark so I decided to emboss gold on top to try and brighten it.
Wavy borders added in black and metallic red. I loved the blues that Hundert used in his art and that's how I decided to include the blue panel.
He also used checkerboard designs on his art and although I have lots of checkerboard DP, none seemed right so I opted for the black and white check.
As you can see my animals are crazy. They also appreciated Hundert's art so I decided to stamp them all using either curves or spirals. No wonder they are all looking at each other lol.
Each crazy animal fussy cut and liquid pearls and sparkle added.
The flag is the sign warning people it is crazy in this animal shelter.
I hope the recipient, Chrissy, likes crazy art. I also hope she won't mind these crazy animals too.
TfL. Happy day

I love your crazy animals and I'm sure Chrissy will too. What a fabulous way to combine the challenges and such a fun way to honour Freddy H. Love it dear Jayne. Stay safe my west coast Aussie mate.

Oh, Jayne, this is fantastic! I knew I liked it on the Zoom screen but I get to see a larger image here. What a fantastic stamp for the bottom, did Hundert design it?! It was perfect for this challenge. And your animals are such fun, everything is perfect about this card!

Your funky stamp was, of course, perfect for the Hundert challenge. I am still deciding what to do with my try on that challenge. Your little koala bear is super cute! Felt so bad for all of them seeing the news awhile ago. I bet Chrissy will just adore this!

What a totally fun card, Jayne. You must have had a blast making it. I really like the contrast between the sort of skyscraper grids and your wild animals. And that bottom border is fantastic.
