For the Inspiration Challenge (IC754) weâre headed to the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm Pinterest Board & my inspiration was THIS picture. I donât have a tulip die, so I subbed a poppy like flower for my wreath.
I die cut a bajillion or so of the 5 petal flowers..colored them w/ the inks & a water brush or sponging, then shaped them. I used the ball end of a very large stylus to add the black centers & a much smaller stylus to add the tiny black dots. After I attached the flowers to a couple of die cut rings, I added some black glitter glue to the centers. I started to do my wreath like the inspiration w/ the flower color mixed, but after playing w/ it a while, I liked the more dramatic look of the red fading to the paler color on the opposite side. The white bg was die cut w/ a floral frame & the greeting stamped in the center.
Thanks so much for looking. It's on my blog w/ all the product links & closeups: The Write Stuff
