I chose to combine the crimped hearts with mulberry paper for a more rustic, textured anniversary card. The paper actually has wood chips imbedded in it. If you've never worked with mulberry paper, you can't cut or tear it. You wet the perimeter of the area needed (in this case approximately 4"x 5 1/4") with your fingertip and gently separate the fibres, creating a rough edge which worked perfectly for this card. I layered the mulberry paper on white and added it to a kraft background before it went on a white base. The hearts, with added brown sequins, and words fit in place. It is traditional to give something made of wood for a 5th wedding anniversary!

I love your textured hearts and b/g paper. It all came together nicely. I LOVE mulberry paper, but I don't see it around much. Gonna have to pull out my tons of it and get to work. Adds such dimension. Great job!
