Thank you so much to introduce this great artist!!
I love his ART.
I thought immediately about the posca markers, and started on the shiny mother of the pearl paper drawing this scene it came just like this, made me think about the French Pays Basque, can you see the village and the trees?? I've cut of the top of my design to add another media, the background is made with the coffee filter and brusho powders printed on glossy photo paper, I've added the posca drawing with foam tape to give dimension, drew the birds with black fine writer and went over the brusho top edges with marker too, finally added some crystal nuvo drops, I had big big fun to make this and hope the future recipient will like it.

Those tiny houses within the tree are fabulous!! You've got so many cool details on this....You really picked up so many of Hundertwassers trademarks. I love the curvy bg and the zentangle type designs on the tree. The markers work great for this as do the brushos. WOW! Glad you had fun!
