My Dad rigged our huge mailbox in such a way that when the door opened, the flag would spring up. We lived on a steep hill and could see from the window if any mail had arrived. I inked the cs with Distress Stain to make it silvery. Stamped the mailbox twice, cut out and glued together. Stamped the flag on red and clear embossed for shine and attached with a brad so it's interactive. Die cut the border for the postage stamp. Added the cute Brownie letter carrier and added the "Value" sticker. Mounted on a pale gray CS.

Great stamp and terrific card with it. Wonderful memory of your mailbox flag going up. I would have loved that when I was a kid as our mailbox was not close to the house.

Super fun. Gosh, those airmail envelopes bring back memories. I think the last time I had some was for writing to an army friend stationed abroad. Super paired with the real stamp and the fun mailbox. We first encountered that American style in Peanuts cartoons, and were amazed by them.
