I surfed through Princessink's gallery and found so many of her cards that I loved. I especially loved one that I could case with Friends Are Like Flowers since I have that set. Here is a link to her card Gallery at Splitcoaststampers. I had one card portion left of my blue checked Wild Asparagus paper and wantd to use it for this case although Cecilia used apricot checked paper.
Cecilia used prismacolor pencils and gamsol to create her card. I wanted to try to use only reinkers but that didn't work. The images were stamped with Stone Gray Stazon. The main image was watercolored with reinkers but I could not get the reinkers to cover well on the Wild Asparagus paper or the apricot cardstock. I used prisma pencils to color those images. I stamped the background paper and apricot border with Itty Bitty Background and gray Stazon. I used the white gel pen to make the background dots on the vellum strips. I loved Cecilia's layout and design. This card took some time to make but was well worth the effort.

Kittie....I love your card & the coolness of the blue with Apricot. I can see why you cased the card it was in my favorites as well. But you've made it your own as well. TFS
