Congratulations, Laurie! Had a fun time looking at all your amusing cards! Great gallery to peruse! For my inspiration I chose, "Waterfront Sympathy for a Friend."
I used the same layout except for the wood bg, which I left out. I used the same colors except for Not Quite Navy, instead of Midnight Muse. Didn't have any of the same stamps, so I used what I had that was closest. I watercolored over the detail on the mountains to give them a more solid look. My stamp had trees in the foreground so I touched those up with Garden Green marker, but left them impressionistic. Added water and a grass line. Stamped trees from Lovely as a Tree. Thought this looked like a good man's birthday card, which I'm always short of, so stamped Happy Birthday. I know this doesn't look like Laurie's inspirational beauty, but I hope you still like it!
