I was just getting ready to upload, when my DGD & friend came for a driveway visit.
Today Roberta & I chose this as inspiration for our social distance stamping. I had some obligations so we couldn't upload at the same time. Thanks to Julie Warner for the cathreal window die cuts (she sent me several a couple of years ago). I tried many things & finally cut out the cross bars of the window for my DRS candles (also an enabling also from Julie). Using MISTI I stamped the candles on vellum. I used pines from Cardmaking & Papercraft along the bottom to give a looking into the window look. Sponged lightly around the edges & rounded the top corners. The window was colored DTP with the gold ink pad.
What a rabbit hole today's IC site was! So much to look at...
Thanks for stopping by.

This looks like the inside of a pretty church window, Karen. Definitely something seen at Christmastime. Love the vellum for a soft look and your sponging adds so much, like the glow from the candles~

I was waiting for your upload...it was worth waiting for. Both you and Roberta made the most rich looking cards with the gold. Your use of the vellum is just gorgeous. Fav'd It's so fun to see what you two talented gals come up with each week. Thanks for the beauty. Hugs

Lovely CAS Christmas card, Karen. Love the church window filled with glowing candles. The pine boughs at the bottom and soft upper shading are beautifully done. You and Roberta have extra fun with these IC challenges. Happy Mother's Day.

Wowza! This is so elegant and so pretty Karen. This gold foil arched window is just stunning and really highlights your lovely candles so beautifully. The soft sponging you did to accentuate the candle glow is brilliant. I can see you really had fun playing with all of your free goodies today and what a card this is! It is really fun to see what you and Roberta are doing with your virtual stamping too. ~Karen.
