Someone posted on Facebook looking for graduation cards for a senior in high school and since I feel so sad for this year's seniors, I volunteered to make one. The school colors are green and black and the mascot is a wolf. So I searched our inspiration site for wolf and found this. I thought if I made this scene it would be a cool card and different from all the graduation caps and gowns that he'll probably get. The wolf is cut from my ScanNCut using a freebie from DesignBundles.net. I cut a large circle and masked it for the moon. Sponged Black Soot for the sky. Then I sponged white in the moon and craters using my Grunge stencil. I found some black and dark gray paper in my scrap drawer and tore them for the ground and embossed my sentiment. I was smart enough today to heat from the back. I keep blowing stray EP around each time I heat emboss lately. This time I got a nice neat emboss. As long as I'm making one card, I usually like to make two, but not for very specialized cards like this one. But I'm glad I made the exception and made a double for this one, because now I also have a nice masculine birthday card that says "Go Wild, It's Your Birthday!"

What a kind thing for you to do, but then, you are always kind, mf. Wonderful scene, based on the inspiration piece. Enjoy the sun today and tomorrow. The troops are coming this afternoon to sit in our driveway and social distance. Can't wait.

I LOVE this for a graduation card! So nice of you to make a card! I feel so sad for all the parents and students of HS seniors this year. I love that this card celebrates the grad but is totally unique!

I love the fabulous techniques you have used on this card, Jennifer. The whole young, wild, free vibe you've created is so perfect for a senior. Any grad would love this!
