This card is for 2 challenges. The Colour Challenge colours are Cajun Craze, Poppy Parade & Mango Melody. I substituted Mango Melody and opted for the dessert of a frame. It is also for Susan's Tea Party Challenge - Art Blooms. What a great challenge, I loved being introduced to the life and art of Mary Delaney.
I started by finding the 2 large leaves in my garden. The weather here is still pretty mild so the leaves are only just starting to change their colour. I adhered the leaves to white c/s, added a few more green leaves and ran through the Big Shot, between 2 plates. The green at the bottom of the panel is the dried liquid from the green leaves. I then sponged around the leaves in Poppy Parade.
I stamped the flowers in Poppy Parade, fussy cut and adhered to the leaves. Sprayed the whole panel with the gold glimmer mist. Left to dry. Once dry, I added the liquid pearls to the centres of the flower. I adhered a piece of acetate to the embossed frame and adhered this frame to the panel.
I enjoyed making this card! TFL!

Sue this is gorgeous. Love the way you've incorporate real leaves into your background...truly amazing and so creative. Love the colors this week, and you've found an exceptional way to use them. Love the texture embossing on your framing!

This is definitely a one of a kind card, Sue. So cool that you added leaves from your garden and then the pop of red for the pretty blooms. I'll bet IRL this card looks so pretty with all the shimmer and bling~

So creative, Sue. This will be okay for you to send out of Australia, I trust? I know it would never make it in, LOL, but I don't think other countries are as exigent. Your leaves are beautiful, and I'm amazed at how well you sponged round them - I'd have been afraid of tearing them. The stamped flowers are a great addition to your pressed leaf background, and I bet the gold glimmer makes it all look just amazing.
