This is my sample for CC789. Karen is our hostess and she chose poppy parade, Cajun craze and mango melody for her color trio. Dessert Option is a frame of some sort.
I love these bright and bold colors and I thought flowers of some sort would show them off best.
The bouquet is a die from CottageCutz and I used the challenge colors for the flowers. I downplayed the Cajun craze by using it only on the flower centers. The stems are cut in mossy meadow (neutral) designer paper.
My background paper is from the Stampin'-Up "see a silhouette" designer paper. A beautiful combo of mango melody and poppy parade.
I added some poppy parade ribbon to complete my card. This will be a Mother's Day card for a friend. That sentiment will be on the inside.
Hope you can play along with us this week. We have some lovely colors for your card creations.
