Card base was white. On a separate 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of white card stock I die cut the honeycomb corner and the Peony. I laid the die cut card stock on top of the card base to made some pencil marks so I would know where to daub the distress ink. I removed the die cut piece and daubed the upper right corner of the card base with yellow and orange distress inks and the flower part of the peony with pink distress ink. I colored the stem and leaves with green copic marker and the flower outline with a magenta copic marker. I then adhered the diecut cardstock to the front of the white card base. It was challenging but I really like how it turned out.
