Yep, I know it's daunting. It had been on my to-do list (in a mini version, with shot glasses) since before Christmas. I do encourage you to try - we all have more time than normal on our hands, and Anita offers options for a DIY pouring medium (I was going to use white glue, but I got lucky and picked some DecoArt medium up when I visited my sister just before lockdown), and even just paint and water.
It's messy, but fun...
The hardest part for me was turning my finished pieces (I made two mini canvases and three 6" squares) into finished cards.
This is one of the little canvases - I added a seahorse stamped in Wild Honey and embossed with clear EP, then fussy-cut. The seaweeds are cut from an old piece of cling-wrap background, and I added Prillsa along the bottom. I mounted it on a piece of card embossed with a twig pattern (I think, could be water), sponged the edges with wilted violet and popped that up on a layer of foam on a white base.

So pretty the background for your seahorse, I understand you find it difficult to use these backgrounds, that's why they are mostly used with nothing on them or very few, I love your mini!!

This is so striking Sabrina. Your seahorse looks amazing with this incredible background you created. I really like how you kept the card base white and added texture to the one panel for the water. You really ran with this challenge Sabrina and it shows in your stunning cards today. ~Karen.

this is just wonderful, Sabrina...i did a little square canvas too, did your canvas wrinkle? Mine did. I'll still use it. I like your white embossing underneath, I figured using a lot of white would make it look awesome.

Another, beautiful creation for Anita's technique challenge. You really have "vision" when you assemble your card after creating the beautiful background! Impressive!
