I originally bought this image for my adult son's birthday card this year. I figured while I had the pens out for the Teapot challenge I would color up his card as well.
He is a huge Dodger fan, hence the title, colors (team colors: Dodger Blue and White), and the D on the bandana. I retyped the sentiment that came with the stamp to include the Dodgers winning (fonts: KG Be Still and Know, Indiana Script).
And, I really appreciate the irony of a pirate cheering for a Dodger. If you're not familiar with American baseball, the Pirates are a professional baseball team from Pittsburg and the Dodgers the team from Los Angeles.
Hope you all have a great day. GO BIG BLUE! TFL

What a truly fun birthday card this is for your son Debbie. I did not know this about the Pirates and Dodgers baseball teams so thank you for sharing this, and thank you for the chuckle today too! ~Karen.

Both your pirate cards are fantastic Debbie! The original sentiment cracks me up but it's great that you were able to customized this for your son, he's sure to appreciate it as a big Dodgers fan!

A wonderful card for a Dodgers fan, too, Debbie! I have 2 sons, both love the US baseball with the eldest being a Dodgers fan. They have both been to baseball games at Dodgers stadium and Boston, too~
