I've had a tiny bunch of daisies in a little glass on my table and they were almost finished, I've laid them on black linen covered with another scrap and ran it through the BS, They stuck to the paper and I've added a layer of varnish to keep them sticking.
Once dry, I've die cut the ovals, one layer of acetate glued over the flowers and then the silver mirror frame, I've turned these 3 layers upside down and cut bits of lace to glue all around.
I've finished by gluing this onto a square kraft card and stamped the corners highlighted with white gel pen, I love the antique look.

Your yellow flowers look great on the black background. I love that you added the lace. It all really does look vingage and so lovely.

I have done a lot of cards using real flowers pressed into cardstock but NEVER thought to try pale colors on black or dark blue. This is a beautiful look and the oval lace-edged framing gives this a wonderful antique feel.
