This LO started out as a scraplift of a dear friend, Joyce Ann's LO, then I read this week's Mix challenge and thought I can include plaid or a crossroads as I have plaid in my photos and that's a double whammy challenge.
That is when I get out my stencil and start pasting. Ok what now. Out come the strips of plaid papers I have in my scraps and I am moving and finger tapping lots. Gosh what had I started...I was supposed to do a scraplift and I am now making things hard for myself.
Undeterred I carry on. Photos finally stuck down and this is where it got tricky as Joyce Ann's page had flourishes and I have lots of flourishes but none seemed to go, when I remembered my note stamp. Stamped my note 3 times, fussy cut and brushed with my tomboy pen as my stamping was a bit iffy today lol. Sequins added and done.
Well I thought I was until I started to go around the photos and papers with my black pen. Journalling added and done. Phew.
Here is Joyce Ann's page...yep I know mine looks nothing like it but I did get my inspiration from it. Thanks Joyce Ann

I had so much fun looking at all the fabulous pages in your gallery. I love to take pictures of my travels but don't have the patience to showcase them as artfully as you do. What treasures you are creating. So fun to look at.
I can see the similarities between yours and Joyce Ann’s. This is really a neat layout, Jayne! It has sharp look with the black against the blue. Very creative!

I think your work with the plaid really enhances the theme of your photos! How fun to be so creative and take your inspiration into your own creative page! I'm happy to have been a part of this page's journey!
