One of our pastors had a navy and white Hawaiian shirt on the other day in a video. So, I knew I wanted to use that to make him a card. I'm a bit early cuz his birthday isn't until August, but that is ok.
So, I loved Karen's fun colors and layout. It's a little hard to see but I used a palm frond stamp in the BG. I used sponge daubers to add DOs to my palm tree. Then I used clear EP over that and heat set it. It didn't take as well as I wanted it to, so I restamped the image (it was in a stamp positioner) in Versamark and heat embossed my palm trees in clear EP again. I was doing that for the CAS challenge to use heat embossing, but forgot it was in the CAS challenge, and it is no longer CAS at this point.
I already had a panel of watercolor CS that had some DOs on it, but added some blues and spritzed with water before cutting out.

This is really striking and dramatic with this navy background Michelle. I am truly loving this a lot. I can see all the stamping on the dark background and I love how that draws the eye to the image panel so nicely. Your pastor is going to love this card Michelle. ~Karen.

Some comforting and cool colors together here - love the mix of images. How great for you to personalize this for him like this - based on one of his shirts! Fab card and case, Michelle. Hugz
