I was inspired by the fact that this weeks Teapot Recipient likes tie dye. I went searching for tie dyed shirts and decided to create my own tie dyed cards.
The green and blue I used water color paper and dropped inks on the water color paper and spritzed with water to blend them.
The spiral one I poured the ink in circles with green, blue and pink and then spritzed them to get the blend.
Both turned out super cute and I will be doing more because I love the results.
The frame and flowers were die cut and popped on dimensionals.
Finished the cards with the Tim Holtz sentiment.
I would love it if you would check out my Blog: Shoe Girls Cards. Thank you for looking!

Most years, when I was a teacher, I tie-dyed shirts for my class to wear on field trips. Each class in the grade had a different color. I have never tie-dyed a card before, but these turned out great!

Oh wow Lisa, these cards are so striking and really gorgeous! I am blown away by the colors in both cards and how they showcase the white frame and die cuts so beautifully. Thank you for explaining how you did this; especially the spiral one, because I want to try this out. Teri is really going to love either one of these gorgeous cards Lisa. ~Karen.

I love the results too and I faved them. I missed that about tie dye, I always read too quickly. I don't have any pirate stuff, so will have to think hard.
