Today Stacy sent us to Pinterest & a tag board. I must say I pinned many! I chose this tag to case.
For my card I used a pre-made manilla tag that I tried to tea stain. I think my tea bag was too wet b/c it didn't work. So I did DTP with my CrumbCake ink pad. I stamped French Script in Close to Cocoa, then proceeded to stamp & color the bees, which were fussy cut & I used glue dots on them. They are colored with Dk Daffodil Blends. The background dp is from DCWV pack. Once again it photoed more blue than it really is. I added some twine & called it done. The bee is a magazine freebie & even came with a die - which really doesn't match, thus the fussy cutting.
Thanks for stopping by.

Hello there! Ohhhh, this just jumped off of the gallery page for me. It is absolutely wonderful! I haven't even looked at the challenge. I guess I am going to have to. This is just fabulous.

I have never had much luck staining with tea or coffee on premade tags, ( I think there is some kind of coating to the cardstock that prevents penetration I guess) I usually grab an antique linen pad to add color to mine so, I did get where you were coming from here Karen. I think this is very cool how the text moves from the tag to the card front too

That is such a pretty version of your inspiration and I do believe it is the EXACT same bee image . . .the soft blue DP really set the stage for that tag.

Beautifully created card. I like the script and the three bees on your tag. The gold and white twine looks nice, especially with leaving the ends long.
