Our MIX challenge this week asks for us to recall happy vacation memories or dreams of exotic places as well the simple pleasures we celebrate. Thank you Anna, for getting our minds off that 'thing' for awhile!
I'm bringing a bike to the gallery today. And another mountain to climb! My card was such fun to make and that is a tension releaser on it's own, right?
I chose a paper from retired Memory Box 'Dewfrost', it already had a cool circle theme. Stenciled the 'Mini Mountain Views' over the top with various shades of Chalk inks in greens and blues. Stamped directly to paper the bike, sentiment and 'Little Luna'. The bike was embossed as was the moon.
The beautiful valley where I live is ringed with hills, streams, mountains and rivers. Out my front door, I can be riding along the river on a country road in 15 minutes. It's spinning those pedals that keeps me going.
If you've the time, have a listen to this . Do you have special memories of this song? Can you just image how humbling it would be to have created a song that so many people relate to in happy ways? Is there another song that 'does it for you', I would love to know.
Thanks for looking. Hope your day is wonderful!

What a great song by Journey! They are coming to Raleigh in August! Also, love their “Don’t Stop Believin.” This is one group my son and I agree on.....
Great looking card, Susan! Love the bg you created as well and, of course, the bike! Fabulous!
This is fabulous! I love the washi you added! You created a gorgeous scene! Oh, it sounds like you live in a beautiful place! How wonderful that it's all a 15-minute ride away! I am so bad, I draw a blank when I try to think of songs but when they come on the radio I sure do a car dance! My daughter laughs at me all the time because she likes to listen to the "oldies" station and I drive along pounding my steering wheel and waving my hand! Thanks for posting that link on my card description. I looked it up and yes that looks like a place we would love to visit! Hugs!

You are my guru here on SCS. Your art always speaks to me, your spirituality always enriches my life, and like you, my stamping and creating gives me tension relief as well. But you went the extra mile here by adding music to your post. Music soothes my soul and wow, this was like magic. Bless you sweet friend of mine!!

Mountains and hills....I love them too. I would be very bad at biking them though. It would all have to be downhill. I love the glow of the mountains in this creation. A song??? I love Sailing by Christopher Cross.
