This is for today's tea party for Katherine and yesterday's CAS (monochromatic). Katherine loves to dance and I chose shades of lavender and purple.
The general color for cancer is purple so that's what I chose to work with. I looked up the type of dancing (contra) she likes to do. Don't need a partner, partners are formed, sounds a bit like square dancing. Apparently my muse was watching out for me as I only really remembered her cancer, dancing and monochromatic. I panicked for a brief moment until I realized that I used scissors to cut out the sentiment into workable pieces, since it's a wood stamp. Gee whiz, Jean. I added some dots of clear glitter, silver and purple gel pens.
I feel very sad for Katherine. Can't imagine. What we are going through in the world is nothing compared to that.

Those are some totally fun dancers, Jean - I'm guessing Parisian Can-can dancers by the looks of their frilly attire . . . The simple tone-on-tone stamping works really well for this cheery card.

Oh Jean, what a terrific card this is, and full of great attitude too! I know these fun dancers will bring a really big smile to Katherine's face. I chuckled about your use of a scissors until you realized you cut up your sentiment. See, you were being so efficient you got ahead of yourself. I love it. I cannot imagine being in Katherine's shoes right now either- so sad. You are bringing a ray of sunshine to Katherine and that really is priceless Jean. Hugs! ~Karen.
