I've always wanted to try a Norther Lights type of card. Since we are all home due to THE VIRUS, this seemed like a good time to try.
I started with a 3.5x5 inch white panel. I used the direct to paper technique which is taking the short end of the stamp and dragging it artfully on the page. I'd try that a few times on some scrap paper. I did a few swipes of lemon lime making sure to leave some white showing. Twist your wrist at the end to get a nice curve. A couple swipes of each of the other colors starting from lightest to darkest. Try to fill in some white areas. At the end I filled in with more lemon lime. All of the colors combine into very interesting new colors.
I ran a darker blue across the bottom for a horizon and darkened it with a sponge to give a hill. Stamped the moose in black and colored him in with a dark black blends pen. Used the gel pen to highlight the moose and add flowers.
The Lemon Lime Twist paper is incredible. I ended up using Dapper Denim which is not one of the inks. I pulled out all my blues and this looked best.
I used the second largest rectangular stitched die along with the scalloped die as a frame. I was able to put both through the die cutter at the same time.Overal card is 5x6.5 in.
