I do indeed see the wheat, straight away. I was trying to decide if you had stamped it first and it worked as a resist, or if you stamped it afterwards. Same look either way, I guess. I like the simple strip across with the sentiment. Tough times for people to lose a loved one. Celebrating a new baby or a birthday, that will wait and can be celebrated later on. Comforting someone at a time of loss, much harder now so I'm sure the card will be extra appreciated. We just heard yesterday that someone we knew had lost her fight with cancer that afternoon. Here they are allowing up to ten family at a funeral - that doesn't even allow for extended family for many people.

I love this with the wheat. I love neutral colors for sympathy cards too.

For me, this is the perfect sympathy card. I love the sheaths of wheat, a hopeful symbol of continued life. So sorry you lost someone especially during these tough times.
