Toni is our hostess for the WTUI challenge this week, you can find it HERE .
I used it as an opportunity to make a Mother's Day card for my MIL (here it was in March).
Flourishes Calendar Year, stamped on a tag and coloured with pencils. Masked, script stamped from French Foliage, also splatters. Sponged with Antique Linen and Vintage Photo.
Base - first stencilled with Wilted Violet using quatrefoil stencil. Then with green acrylic paint, using a leaf stencil, I think it was Newton's Nook. Edged with white acrylic paint, then stickles in gold, purple and Star Dust. Bee from Dragonfly Dreams stamped on watercolour paper, coloured with Wild Honey and Stickles on wings. Shabby White chunky EP on card base before popping tag up on foam. SU Oval punch for the âeoepansyâe . I used seam binding dyed with Brushos on the tag.

I love everything about this card. The pansies are colored perfectly. The stenciled bg in so many hues of purple. Love the spots of green. The bumble bee has been dining on luscious flowers...he's so rollie pollie. And those glittered edges...I am going to have to case this!

My first thought for the purple challenge was pansies as well, Sabrina! Yours are beautiful and so lifelike! Your stenciled and glittered background is gorgeous...love the added bee!

I love the brilliant combo of colors you got for your edging on this wonderful creation, Sabrina! That bee looks so real! Ha, had to go checkout your watermark since Angie mentioned it. Love Snoopie!
