Our teapot recipient today is Cammie whose favorite color is purple (mine too).
I started with a Royal purple cardstock, Affixed the damask stencil and used a sponge dauber to apply gesso over the entire surface. While that was drying I stamped the Unity fairy on watercolor paper and colored with Arteza Brush Markers. Stamped the wings several more times so I could lift them up in layers on my card. I stamped the sentiment in frost white then embossed with Snow White powder then did a torn edge to frame. Since the sentiment mentions dragonflies, I decided to add one of those, too. Fussy cut all my images and added crystal Stickles to all the wings for shimmer & sparkle. I stamped the fairy one last time in frost white on my purple panel to capture the swirls & furls of fairy dust then adhered my images and sentiment.
I will get this in the mail to Cammie today!

Wow Linda! This card is so regal looking and wonderfully magical with this gorgeous fairy and dragonfly. Cammie is going to adore this beautiful card you made for her Linda. ~Karen.

That is a very pretty image of a fairy. I don't have but one fairy in my stamp collection. I am not sure why.

One of my very few fairy stamps, and haven't you colours her beautifully, her skirt looks like s flower emerging from a green calyx. The layered wings are wonderful. That's just gesso on the stencilling? You must have much denser gesso than mine, I think it would take me several coats to get that same bright white as the sentiment.

So lovely, Linda. The fairy is gorgeous and the sentiment is very peaceful and sweet. She is sure to love this! Hugz
