Today's Tea Party is for Cammie in Florida. Polly is our hostess and she has challenged us to use stencils on our cards. I naturally went for my favorite stencil technique--stacked stencils. I printed this sweet digi that was a freebie from Gerda Steiner Designs and cut out a mask, so I could sponge a big heart behind them. Then I laid another heart stencil over it and sponged purple hearts inside the big heart. The DOX ink dulled the "Sending" part of the sentiment, so I had to trace over it with black gel pen. Also colored in the "hugs" with Nuvo Crystal Glaze to make it pop. I hope Cammie enjoys all her cards!

Beautiful job on the layered stencils - It looks just like purchased DSP. The "hugs" in your sentiment looks like the writing gel you can get to decorate birthday cakes. Really cool and fun way to make it pop.

Jen, this is just adorable! I love this stacking stencil technique you did- especially with all the hearts. And these hugging critters are so sweet - Cammie is going to love this! ~Karen.
