This is my card for CC786. Chris is our hostess and she chose pretty peacock, pool party and rococo rose for her color trio. Dessert Option this week is stripes.
I decided to make one last Easter card. It was a bit more of a challenge than I thought with these colors. But, I think I was able to pull it off.
I cut my cross in neutrals of crumb cake & soft suede. Then used the pretty peacock for the lily stem. The lilies are white with a small accent of rococo rose.
For the dessert option, I had some older Stampin'-Up designer paper from the "color me irresistible" collection- I sponged pool party ink on the stripes.
Used some white mesh and pool party seam binding for added interest and finished off my card with a few rococo rose faceted enamel dots.
My card layout is an older sketch that I had pinned to one of my Pinterest boards. See sketch here.
Hope you can play along with us this week. Chris has picked some fun colors for your card projects.

Mary, I love how you used these colors so beautifully for an Easter card! The quadrants of pool dsp and the layered ribbons look wonderful behind the gorgeous cross. So inspiring and peaceful.
