CT = Rise Up, Eyes UP . . .my pals have looked up to see the night sky and caught a special Shooting Star.
I colored this Unity image with Prismacolor pencils and blended with gamsol then paper pieced the boys shirt. To make this most effective I needed a night sky so using torn paper pieces to mask, I used a cotton ball to apply dark Navy blue followed by black. (I find my artists chalks always look lighter on the cardstock than they did in the tray) I followed this with n spattering of watered down white acrylic paint for distant stars and then spritzed the entire panel with glimmer mist . Not only does it add a shimmery glow but also sets the chalks to stabilize them. Added stickles crystal to the shooting star trail and popped the fussy cut sentiment up on mounting foam.

Linda, this is brilliantly done. Your sky as well as all the other coloring is wonderful and I love that paper you chose, looking like this little lad snuck outside in hi PJ's. Thanks for sharing your techniques. You totally inspire me.
